Weekly Wisdom | July 2021
Each Wednesday we share some Weekly Wisdom with you written by one of your fellow parishioners! Take some time to read over the note and reflect on how you can apply it to your life as you live your faith!
“Your faith has saved you.” (Matthew 9:22)
Whenever you feel desperate, hang on to your faith! Jesus came to provide salvation and healing to all – the respected AND the rejected.
“The Son of Man is Lord of the sabbath.” (Matthew 12:8)
When we grow spiritually hungry and crave refreshment and renewal, our heavenly Father offers us his gift of the Eucharist that provides us sacred time and refreshes our spirits.
“See sown on rich soil is one who hears the word and understands it.” (Matthew 13:23)
Remember the person God made you to be and let Jesus become the gardener of your heart, turning even the rockiest ground into rich soil.
“Is he not the carpenter’s son?” (Matthew 13:55)
Don’t let your familiarity blind you to God’s goodness. Open your heart and let him bring you to deeper faith.
“A Moment to Ponder” is a faith blog written by parishioners and by members of our Parish Staff. It is posted under the Adult Faith Formation tab on theworker.org.
