A faith sharing group is a small group of adults (usually 6 – 12) who meet regularly (weekly, biweekly, monthly) to reflect on Scripture, share life, and pray. Some groups also meet during the Lenten season or to discuss a book or topic.
Joining a faith sharing group is a great opportunity to share your faith more deeply and to connect with your fellow parishioners. In a small group setting, you can feel free to ask questions, explore the faith and grow closer to God and your group members. In a small group you will find encouragement, care and a deeper sense of community.
Parishioners often seek out other individuals on their own and start groups together. The Adult Faith Formation and Parish Life Committees will assist those interested in forming faith sharing groups and will also provide possible materials for the group to use.
