St. Joseph the Worker Octoberfest

What is Octoberfest?

Octoberfest is our largest event of the year. On the first Sunday of October, we invite our community and greater Dubuque to gather in the school gym. There’s food, a silent auction, a craft fair, games and more.

This event is a great opportunity for parishioners to connect with each other and with our guests. Parishioners volunteer and work together to help organize and run the event. Visitors and parishioners bond over a good meal and fun games.

Octoberfest is also our largest parish fundraiser. The proceeds from this event help support the work our parish does to help the poor and to create a strong community of faith.

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who came to Octoberfest 2018! It was a great weekend with a lot of fun for a great cause! We also want to give a special thanks to all the volunteers who gave their time and talent to help put on another great event this year. Octoberfest would not be such a huge success without the help and support of our amazing volunteers. None of this would be possible without everyone’s support!
