Many people are feeling upset and disheartened by the current crisis in the Catholic Church. If you need a place where you can express what you’re feeling, we are here to listen.
After Mass, members of the St. Joseph the Worker clergy and staff will be available in Martin Hall for you to talk to. There will be options for both one-on-one and group conversations. The staff or clergy member will take notes about what you say, and we will put together a summary of comments and suggestions to present to Archbishop Jackels so he can have them in mind when he goes to the Bishops’ meetings in early November.
We will also have materials at the Information Station if you or someone you know is a victim of abuse by clergy and would like more information about how to report it.
We are doing this so you know you are being heard and that your thoughts and feelings about this difficult time for the Church matter. If you have any questions, please call the Parish Office at 563-588-1433.
