On Sunday, May 11th, the Church throughout the world prays for vocations. Will you make a special effort to ask the Lord for vocations to the priesthood and religious life? Pray for the priests who have ministered to you throughout your life, both living and dead. Encourage your children, grandchildren, or other young people to consider a vocation as a priest, religious brother, or sister. Pray a rosary for more young men and women in our diocese to respond to God’s call.
Is God Calling You to the Priesthood? A vocation to the priesthood is a call to a life of deep purpose, service, and relationship with God. It means walking with people in their most sacred moments, helping them grow in faith, and participating in Christ’s own mission. Priests serve as witnesses to hope, spiritual fathers, and visible signs of God’s love and mercy in the world. It’s not an easy path, but one filled with grace, joy, and meaning. If you feel a tug in your heart, listen—God may be calling you to something greater. Click Here for MORE info on Vocations!
