Theresians is an International organization of "Women in Support of Women - Reaching out with Gospel Values." Named after St. Therese of Lisieux, Theresians support each other in prayer, affirmation, and empowerment to become the women God intends them to be. There are two Theresian communities in Dubuque. One, Evening Embers, has several SJTW parishioners in the community: Cheryl Billmyer, Dawn Brosius, Suellen Flynn, Tracy Hogan, Nancy Kringle, Corinne McCullough, Joyce Scherner, and Charlotte Uhlik.
