What is Moms Group?
Are you a mom who would like to learn more about how to grow in your faith-life and how to help influence your family’s faith-life more with new ideas and knowledge while at the same time meet new people and make new friends? Join us for Moms group! We gather on the second Monday of the month at 7:00pm throughout the school year. Our focus this year is a study of saints and will include mini-lessons about different saints that as mothers we can connect to, pray with, and discover fun ways and activities to teach our children about them. Join us for our first meeting of the school year on Monday, September 10th in Mary’s Corner located in the lower level of the parish office. If you have questions, please contact the Parish Office at 563-588-1433
What Happens at Meetings?
During each meeting, a speaker presents on a relevant topic like living simply, balancing busy lives, service, and so on. Time for discussion and reflection follows the presentation. Moms can then share ideas for passing on the faith to children.
In the months of December and April the women gather for a celebration dinner and socializing.
When Does Moms Group Meet?
At 7:00 pm on the second Monday evening of the month from September to April, women with children meet for support and social time, faith sharing and activities.
